ASA Style

While a few article databases and citation generators offer ASA formatting for citations, these are NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE! It is your responsibility to double check the citations' accuracy against the "ASA Style Guide" or other sources linked from this guide.

Copies of this book, also referred to as the "ASA Style Guide," (6th edition) are located at the Reference Desk (Library main level) for in-library use only.

The 7th edition (2022) has recently been published and the examples found in this Resource Guide have been updated accordingly.  The Library will have a hard copy of the 7th edition available for use as soon as it becomes available.
