Getting Started With Library Search

The Primo online catalog, aka Library Search includes print and digital resources. It also includes resources from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, University of Nebraska Medical Center, University of Nebraska Omaha. 

Slide 2: Search Options

There are five search options available in the search box drop down menu. Pressing the blue search button will take you to the search results page.

• Almost Everything @ UNK
  • This will search for all types of items available from the Calvin T. Ryan library. Books (print and electronic), Journals, Articles, Media and more.
• Books, Media and More @ UNK
  • Everything (listed above) except for Articles.
• Articles and More
  • This focuses on articles and Other electronic materials/media from our databases.
• Course Reserve
  • Any items that a instructor has set aside for their class. These items would either be available at the Circulation Desk or through eReserves.
• Search NU Libraries
  • Physical materials available from other NU campus libraries. Items from these campuses can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan.

A direct link to the library search page can be accessed in the Navbar.

• Select Resources
• Then Library Search
