Library Renovation Information

During the Library renovation, we will have limited study spaces. In order to help serve our students, we’ve compiled a list of available study spaces across campus.

Copeland Hall

Copeland hall has two study spaces on the second and third floor immediately outside the elevator. In addition COPH 103P is open to all students, COPH203G is available to Geography students and COPH12G is available for Sociology students 8:00am-5:00pm.

West Center

West Center has study spaces available in Brewed Awakening on the lower level of the building. The Brewed Awakening space also contains the Finance Lab, which is available until 9pm Monday through Thursday. West Center is open from 6:30am – 8:30pm, Mon thru Thurs; 6:30-5pm, Fri; Closed on weekends.

Discovery Hall

Discovery Hall has large, open study spaces in the first-floor atrium. In addition, there are smaller workrooms on the third floor in the faculty office areas. Discovery Hall is open: 12:00 – 10:00pm, Sunday; 7am - 10pm, Mon – Thurs; 7am – 7pm, Fridays.

College of Education

Study areas are available near the vending machines as well as on the second-floor balcony in the atrium. There are a few niches scattered throughout the building.

Nebraskan Student Union

The Nebraskan has may study spaces in the food court/central hall; the area is first come/first serve. Various lounge spaces around the building are also available. Other spaces in the union have screens outside the entry letting you know of scheduled meetings and availability. The Nebraskan is open: 6:30am – 11pm, Mon – Fri; 7:30am – 11pm, Saturdays; 8:30am – 11pm, Sundays.
