While MS Word, some article databases, and free online tools such as BibMe offer Chicago formatting for citations, these systems are NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE!

If you use these online tools to generate citations, please double check their accuracy against the Chicago Manual of Style or other sources linked from this guide.

Copies of the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition (2017) are located at the Reference Desk and Circulation-Reserve Desk (Library main level) for in-library use only.

A circulating copy of the 2010 edition is located in the Book Collection (Library 2nd floor).
