English 253: Introduction to Literature---Non-Western Civilization

I'm Rachel Hammer, and I am the English librarian here at UNK (I also cover a handful of other subjects). I have a passion for literature and an expertise in research within this area. Having earned literature degrees myself, and having started my bachelor's degree as a biochemistry major, I know how difficult introductory literature classes can seem. I am here to work with you on this journey.

Think of me as a helping hand for the research portions of this course. I can point you in the right directions and show you the easiest path to the top of Mt. Research Project. The view from the top is worth it; I promise. Please reach out with any and all questions you may have. I started where you are, and believe me: there are no stupid questions. If you have a question, I can almost guarantee I asked it, too, in my intro to lit class.
