1. Identify the appropriate location to submit your thesis, research paper, or creative work. A list of common locations (series) is part of this resource guide. If your location isn't listed, go to https://openspaces.unk.edu/communities.html, navigate to your department, then click on the Theses, Dissertations, and Student Creative Activity series. 

2. Click Submit Research, under Author Corner. On desktop, this option will be in the left menu. On mobile, at the bottom of the page. 

3. If you haven't logged in, you will be prompted to do so. This is NOT tied to your UNK credentials - you will need to create an account if you haven't previously. Use an email address to which you will have access after leaving UNK, as this will ensure you get notifications about use of your work. 4. Fill in the form. Fields in red are required; those in black are optional. Please fill in as much information as possible as it helps others find and accurately cite your work. 

5. Add your work by clicking Upload file from computer, then Choose File. This will open the file locator and allow you to choose a file. If you have additional files (such as datasets, audio or video files, supplemental images not included in your work, etc), make sure that box is checked. 

6. Click Submit. You will receive a confirmation both on screen and via email. Once your work has been reviewed, it will be published and appear in the series. You will receive an email when that happens. If you need to edit your submission, you can find it by clicking My Account on the main menu.
