Library Research Tutorial: Adapted from Canvas Course

This Research Guide runs through the same information as the Library Tutorial course in Canvas. Use this guide to quickly access that information without needing to log into Canvas, and use it as a refresher for the main points in the Canvas tutorial.

You can filter results along the left-hand side of the screen:

Each Library Search record includes details for locating library materials as illustrated below:

A - Available at - Shows where you may find an item on the Library shelves. For example: Book Collection (2nd Level)

B - Call Number - This is necessary for you to locate printed books, DVDs, or other physical items at the library! For example: TR 660.5 .J68 2005

C - Available Online - Shows whether an item is available as an e-book, e-journal, or other e-resource
