Plagiarism matters! Such violations are addressed by UNK's Academic Integrity Policy, as published in the Undergraduate Catalog, which states: "The maintenance of academic honesty and integrity is a vital concern of the University community. Any student found in violation of the standards of academic integrity may be subject to both academic and disciplinary sanctions."1
These standards explicitly forbid cheating, fabrication and falsification, and plagiarism.2
UNK faculty enforce this policy using Google or Turnitin to screen student assignments for plagiarism.
